Mentorly + UKG Pro Integration
Run mentorship programs on the people you manage in UKG Pro: export a people report, import with Mentorly's template, and let them sign in with your identity provider.
How It Works
From UKG Pro to a running program in three steps
Export
Export the people you want from UKG Pro: name, work email, department, job title and manager.
Import
Paste the columns into Mentorly's member template (email, name, mentor, role, cohort, tags and your onboarding questions) and import. Mentorly matches on email, so nothing is duplicated. The import writes every system column as it is in the file, blank included, so for a re-import start from Mentorly's member export.
Sign in
Your people sign in with SAML 2.0 from your identity provider, and get their Mentorly invitation when you send it.
Getting your people out of UKG Pro
UKG Pro's help centre is behind a customer login, so we do not quote a menu path here. Ask your UKG administrator for a People Analytics report, or a Reports-as-a-Service export, with name, work email, department, job title and supervisor. UKG Ready has its own Data Exports.
Signing in
Mentorly signs people in with SAML 2.0 from your identity provider (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and others). UKG Pro's public documentation does not describe UKG Pro acting as an identity provider for other applications, so sign-in to Mentorly goes through your identity provider rather than through UKG Pro. UKG Ready publishes OpenID Connect provider endpoints per company, which is a different protocol from SAML.
About a live connector
Mentorly does not connect to the UKG Pro API today. UKG Pro's Personnel APIs (person-details and employment-details) use basic authentication with a web service account and a customer API key; UKG Ready's employees API uses OAuth 2.0. A connector that reads your UKG Pro records on a schedule is scoped as a project with your team, not switched on in a settings page.
