Mentorly + Rippling Integration
Run mentorship programs on the people you manage in Rippling: export your worker roster, import with Mentorly's template, and let them sign in with Rippling itself.
How It Works
From Rippling to a running program in three steps
Export
Export the people you want from Rippling: name, work email, department, job title and manager.
Import
Paste the columns into Mentorly's member template (email, name, mentor, role, cohort, tags and your onboarding questions) and import. Mentorly matches on email, so nothing is duplicated. The import writes every system column as it is in the file, blank included, so for a re-import start from Mentorly's member export.
Your people sign in with SAML 2.0 from your identity provider, and get their Mentorly invitation when you send it.
Getting your people out of Rippling
Rippling's help centre is behind a customer login, so we do not quote a menu path here. Ask your Rippling administrator for a worker roster export with name, work email, title, department, manager and location, the fields Rippling's own worker record carries.
Signing in
Rippling documents acting as a SAML identity provider for third-party applications, with SAML metadata, an entity ID and an ACS URL it generates. Mentorly accepts SAML 2.0, so your people can sign in to Mentorly with their Rippling login.
About a live connector
Mentorly does not connect to the Rippling API today. Rippling's REST API (GET /workers, for syncing worker rosters) accepts an API token as a bearer token or OAuth 2.0 for listed apps. A connector that reads your Rippling records on a schedule is scoped as a project with your team, not switched on in a settings page.

Use Cases for Rippling Customers
Fast-Growing Startups
A hiring wave is a few new rows appended to Mentorly's member export and one more import; existing members are recognised by their email.
Tech Companies
Rippling's department and title columns go into the cohort and tags columns of the template (create the cohorts in Mentorly first) for engineering, product and sales programs.
Remote-First Teams
Put the location in the tags column and time-zone-aware pairing is a filter in Mentorly's matching.
