Run mentorship programs on the people you manage in Personio: export the People list, import with Mentorly's template, and let them sign in with your identity provider.
How It Works
From Personio to a running program in three steps
Export
Export the people you want from Personio: name, work email, department, job title and manager.
Import
Paste the columns into Mentorly's member template (email, name, mentor, role, cohort, tags and your onboarding questions) and import. Mentorly matches on email, so nothing is duplicated. The import writes every system column as it is in the file, blank included, so for a re-import start from Mentorly's member export.
Sign in
Your people sign in with SAML 2.0 from your identity provider, and get their Mentorly invitation when you send it.
Getting your people out of Personio
In Personio, go to Organization, then People list, click the share icon and choose Export. Pick CSV or Excel, the filter (current view or all employees) and the columns you want. The export permission is People list and org chart (export).
Signing in
Mentorly signs people in with SAML 2.0 from your identity provider (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and others). Personio's documentation describes Personio as a SAML service provider, meaning it accepts sign-in from your identity provider but does not act as one, so Mentorly sign-in goes through the same identity provider, not through Personio.
About a live connector
Mentorly does not connect to the Personio API today. Personio's API (v2 GET /persons, scope personio:persons:read) uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials and is part of the Core Pro plan. A connector that reads your Personio records on a schedule is scoped as a project with your team, not switched on in a settings page.
